POEM
COMING HOME
Turning, turning, turning
in the centrifugal spin
we emerge from grounded roots
to the spiraling transformation
of a soaring creature
moving from darkness into the light
we are Coming Home

Is it possible to use approximately 75 to 85 pounds of US coins minted prior to 1950 and composed of nickle, silver, and copper for a sculpture or casting such as this. I enjoy Ospreys. These coins were ‘spare change’ saved in Mason jars between 1920 and 1950 by my grandfather. I would like for them to be something other than in cardboard boxes. Thank you.

I am not sure if it is possible or not. I would suggest that you contact a foundry close to your home and ask them that question. Good luck….
